I received a notice of violation from your office. How many days do I have to fix the problem?
Depending on the notice you received, you have 10 days on notices involving weeds, junk vehicle or other violations. You have 45 days on notices involving the demolition or repairs of buildings.

How can l get rid of my old car?
Call one of the local wrecker services. Some wrecker services pick up cars at no cost to you.

My alley is dirty. Why doesn't the City clean our alley?
Each resident is responsible for their own alley. Alleys should be free of weeds and trash. Special arrangements can be made for elderly and disabled citizens, but must call the landfill at (432) 445-9133 for an appointment.

You must come to city hall to obtain a permit and review the rules.

Is your airport secure?
Yes. The Airport is fenced and has a coded gate entry. Additionally, the Airport Manager lives on the premises.

Yes. We routinely have Gulfstream Vs, Hawker’s, Challenger’s, Falcon’s and Beech Jets.

Are hangars available?
Yes. Overnight- $15 for ASEL, $35 for larger aircraft. Annual T-Hangars rent for $650.

How do I get to town?
We provide courtesy cars. Otherwise, rental cars are available through local car dealers.

Can you reserve the Maxey Park picnic facilities?
Picnic facilities are reserved on a first-come-first-serve basis, unless prior arrangements are made with the parks department.

Is the athletic pool available for private parties?
Yes, the pool must be reserved in advance and is available after the pool closes to the public (6:00 pm, Tuesay through Sunday).

Are alcoholic beverages allowed in the park?
No, City Ordinance prohibits alcoholic beverages in any city owned building or facility.
